Leitch has appointed Brian Cabeceiras to the position of vice president for its newly established Leitch Systems Engineering group. In his new role, Cabeceiras will apply his extensive experience to strengthen Leitch's position with systems integrators.
Cabeceiras comes to Leitch from SeaChange International where he served as president of the company's broadcast server division. Prior to his tenure at SeaChange, Cabeceiras spent seven years with Grass Valley Group/Tektronix and seven years with Sony Broadcast, where he held a number of senior management positions including director of each company's systems business.
