Leitch’s VelocityHD speeds up production at India’s Zee TV

VelocityHD combines the Altitude hardware platform with the Velocity software interface.
Zee TV, India's Hindi entertainment channel, has purchased four Leitch VelocityHD format-flexible, HD/SD NLEs. Zee TV will use VelocityHD to edit current affairs programming and promotions.

VelocityHD combines the Altitude hardware platform with the Velocity software interface, delivering real-time post-production editing. The system features full-quality, real-time HD playback of multiple video and dynamic graphics streams with dual-stream, real-time HD transitions and effects. VelocityHD supports all HD formats and frame rates, with the ability to mix and match compressed and uncompressed video sources.
