LG Electronics unveils first mobile DTV in United States

LG Electronics introduced Dec. 31 what it says is the first portable, battery-operated mobile DTV in the United States designed to receive over-the-air signals being transmitted by local broadcasters.
The company said it would make the public rollout of the DP570MH mobile digital television with DVD Playback in Las Vegas at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show Jan. 7-10. The device comes with a built-in antenna and the ability to play DVD and CD discs.
Nearly a dozen other mobile DTV consumer products are expected to be introduced at the 2010 CES.
