Linear Acoustic to showcase digital audio processing at HD World

Linear Acoustic AEROMAX-TV digital television audio processor is a four-channel unit that can be configured as 2+2 or 2+1+1 (stereo plus two mono channels). CrowdControl Dialog Protection Processing is provided for the main program audio.
Linear Acoustic will exhibit its AEROMAX-TV Stereo Digital Audio Processor with CrowdControl at this month's HD World Conference & Exposition in New York City. The unit offers Linear’s CrowdControl Dialog Protection Processing to address intelligibility problems in stereo and surround soundtracks for live events.
User-selectable effects such as “Hyper Surround” modes help reduce crowd noise in surround channels but also can mask the announcer's voice. Linear’s DSP algorithm eliminates this problem for stereo viewers prior to transmission without impacting sound quality for surround listeners.
The four-channel AEROMAX-TV processes main stereo and auxiliary programs — stereo or dual mono — and includes a high-quality multiband dynamics engine.
