At IBC2006, MAINDATA showcased its DVB-H IP S6000 T6100 encapsulator that integrates an MPEG-2 TS player and video-streaming server, which makes it easy to build a test environment.
The MAINDATA DVB-H IPE has a user-friendly Web interface that controls consistency of settings and protects operators from misconfigurations. The unit offers remote control via XML and monitoring via SNMP version 3. The MAINDATA DVB-H IPE provides the ability to form more than one group of DVB-H services.
The next release of the product will provide statistical multiplexing, an encryption engine, remux capabilities and direct control by sub-providers.
