Media Bureau reminds MVPDs of EEO report filing deadline
Aug 20, 2009 9:27 AM
The FCC Media Bureau last week reminded Multi-Channel Video Programming Distributors that they must meet a Sept. 30 deadline for submitting an equal employment opportunity (EEO) annual report (FCC Form 396-C). MVPDs must file a Multi-Channel Video Programming Distributor EEO Program Annual Report for employment units with six or more employees.
According to the bureau, the report should be submitted via the Internet using the commission’s electronic filing system. Filing paper versions is possible if accompanied by a request for waiver of the electronic filing requirements. However, a limited number of waivers will be granted.
Instructions on using the electronic filing system are available in the CDBS User’s Guide.
