Mediaset selects Signiant’s Digital Media Distribution Suite

Italian broadcaster Mediaset has adopted Signiant’s Digital Media Distribution Management Suite as a key part of its digital media distribution strategy.
Initially, the Signiant system will be used to accelerate secure transfers of large files between Mediaset’s broadcast operations in Rome and Milan and to facilitate content exchange with people outside of the Mediaset organization. The broadcaster will also use Signiant to connect its regional sites on an IP network and to allow reporters to upload field-generated content.
