New broadcasting show targets the Middle East

The Middle East now has its own broadcast equipment convention. Middle East Broadcasters (MEB) 2005, the first annual Conference and Exposition of broadcast technology in Beirut, Lebanon, will take place Dec. 8-10. It will also feature an extensive conference program, technical sessions and panel discussions.
More than 120 exhibitors will showcase their technology products to technology buyers from 22 countries in the Middle East.
Products featured will consist of equipment for video production and post, broadcasting, digital imaging, graphics/animation, audio production, satellite delivery and HDTV.
The conference will also include a fully functional HDTV station that will broadcast from the floor of the conference.
