Modulus Video opens Silicon Valley facility for MPEG-4 AVC development and evaluation

Modulus Video, a provider of MPEG-4 AVC video compression systems for television, has opened the doors to its new world headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. The 20,000-square-foot facility offers a major demonstration and evaluation area devoted to AVC in SD and HD formats.

The Modulus AVC demonstration and evaluation facility enables industry professionals to evaluate real-time, broadcast quality AVC encoders and decoders that support the new AVC standard, which seeks to supplant the MPEG-2 broadcast video compression standard. The facility will showcase broadcast, post-production, telco and satellite applications.

Parties interested in visiting the demo facility are encouraged to email or visit www.ModulusVideo.com.
