Moscow university builds production training center with Cinegy

The Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) has built a compact TV center for the creation and broadcast of programming. The system includes the broadcast studio, editing rooms, TV journalist sets based on the Sony HVR-V1 and a Polycom VCX-500 videoconference system to hold interactive meetings with other higher educational establishments.
A key part of this project was the installation of the cinegy workflow system, which includes four cinegy desktop workstations, the cinegy air automation system, the cinegy ingest SD station, and the central cinegy media archive server with a 6TB disk array (500 hours). The automation system is open and can be upgraded to broadcast to the Internet in the MPEG-4 format.
