UK provider of terrestrial infrastructure for the transmission of analog and digital television National Grid Wireless has appointed T-VIPS as a preferred supplier for the provision of a Service Information (SI) Manager for its two digital terrestrial TV multiplexes (C and D).
T-VIPS will supply an enhanced transport stream processor from its cProcessor product family, which provides a solution for processing, multiplexing and monitoring MPEG transport streams. The cProcessor will enable National Grid Wireless to provide regionalized SI for its two multiplexes.
