NBC5 launches local podcasts

WMAQ-TV, NBC5 in Chicago, has launched a series of podcasts, the MP3 audio programs inspired by Apple’s iPod music player.
The programs can be downloaded from NBC5’s Web site and transferred to an iPod or any portable media device that supports MP3s. They can also be played on a personal computer.
NBC5 podcasts broadcast 22 new productions each week, and include news, health, entertainment and technology topics.
