NBC affiliate WXIA-TV 11 in Atlanta upgraded its main on-air control room and a second production control room with the Wheatstone D5.1 and D9 digital audio control surfaces and routers.

The Gannett-owned station will install Wheatstone's Bridge Router with multiple I/O frames throughout the facility. The Bridge handles all mixing, processing and routing. The D5.1 and D9 act as control surfaces for the two control room locations. All audio sources and their associated control can be shared by both locations.

The system is scheduled to ship in September 2004.
