NBC and Telemundo stations in Miami broadcast HD news

WTVJ –TV, the NBC affiliate and WSCV-TV, its sister Telemundo station, now broadcast their local news in HD. NBC Universal owns both.
The two stations currently broadcast from a shared facility in Miramar, FL, that was recently upgraded to HD operations. WTVJ will provide more than 30 hours of news and other local programming in HD each week, while WSCV is offering 17 hours of local news and plans to add local specials in the near future.
