NETIA'S NodalMaster gives Eurosport streamlined control over signal

NETIA’s new NodalMaster software is being used at Eurosport to streamline reception and routing of A/V feeds across its digital broadcast center, near Paris. Installed in the Eurosport master control room, NodalMaster provides a single interface for controlling all the routing and processing equipment in a nodal suite, from program schedules to A/V tuning equipment and monitoring devices, while enabling operators to make links or switch from any source to any target.

NETIA's NodalMaster allows operators in the Eurosport master control room to control the entire chain in receiving a particular feed from a specific source — for example, a tennis match on a designated satellite — at a set time and subsequently generating an SDI signal and delivering audio and video to the appropriate location within the broadcast center.
