Network Electronics/VPG to open design center in Chicago

Network Electronics/VPG will open a new design center in Chicago to focus on development of the Ventura product line, the company said last week.
The new office also will provide engineering resources to advance development of synergies between Network Electronics and VPG equipment. Network Electronics acquired VPG earlier this year to offer solutions for video transport, routing and signal processing over short and long distances. The Ventura range of products is aimed at the telco and broadcast markets to facilitate the compression, transmission and transport of HD signals.
