Nevion goes green at IBC

Sep 23, 2009 11:50 AM

Nevion, a video transport solution provider for broadcasters, telecommunications service providers and government entities worldwide, announced at IBC2009 that it was going green across its entire product line.

A commitment to resource and power savings for more than a decade has led to Nevion’s position as the green leader in video transport and signal processing.

The entire Flashlink product line is now being built around green precepts. All Flashlink signal processing and fiber transport products have no fans to clean or replace, saving energy, extending the life of the products and eliminating ongoing resources needed to service the fans. The Flashlink series also features the lightest 2RU frame on the market and a carbon footprint that reduces power consumption by 30 percent to 50 percent.
