Simon Derry, former head of the broadcast division of Vitec, has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of UK-based Snell and Wilcox.
Derry, 41, succeeds John Spencer, the current CEO, who will remain a member of the Snell and Wilcox board of directors. Earlier Derry held positions at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, Nokia and Ingersoll Rand.
Derry will assume his new post at the broadcast equipment manufacturers later in the year.
