New remote measurement system from Rohde & Schwarz

Rohde & Schwarz’s EFA-NET enables both 8VSB digital and NTSC analog standards to be monitored in conjunction with the Rohde & Schwarz EFA test receiver.

The system provides remote access via private LAN/WAN, or by Internet, even wireless PDA devices. EFA-NET can access key transmitter site parameters including, real-time full-power VSWR monitoring through use of the ECHO Display. EFA-NET is SNMP-based, and will easily interface with any SNMP network management system. This multi-site/multi-user, Linux solution integrates well with the remote central casting paradigm.
