Omnibus has unveiled a new solution for fast logging and preview of late-breaking news clips and sports highlights. The new OmniBus Opus news and sports logging system allows users to capture key frames in order to build storyboards rapidly. It also provides the ability to review and filter logged events and quickly create shot lists for review and export to an NLE for finishing.
Including “one-button-press” event logging, configurable user interfaces, and intuitive desktop control of live and prerecorded feeds, the OmniBus Opus provides all the tools necessary for critical highlights logging, even as the story or game is taking place. The system features capabilities for recalling, sorting and accessing logged events.
The system is part of OmniBus’ Opus Content
Management and Workflow Suite, and is fully integrated with OmniBus
Colossus transmission automation and HeadLine news suites, as well as with
other automation and newsroom systems.
