On Sight selects Tektronix for HD quality control

On Sight, a London-based HD video facility, has purchased a Tektronix WVR7100 SD/HD rasterizer for the checking of equipment and HD content.

The acquisition allows the company to offer a hybrid service capable of monitoring HD, SD and analog composite video, plus analog and digital audio, from a single compact device.

The WVR7100 features a FlexVu display that allows users to view waveform, vector, gamut, picture, alarm screens, error log, audio signal levels and lissajous curves in four different tiles. With its Tektronix-patented gamut displays (diamond, split diamond and arrowhead), the device ensures that broadcast material meets gamut compliance in the component and composite color spaces.
