Fox International Channels, a division of News Corp, is using an OnAir system from SintecMedia to manage its business activities for its new Bulgarian channel, Fox Life. The system will streamline the processes involved in programming, promotions and airtime sales.
Based in the capital of Sofia, Fox Life is News Corp.’s second channel in the eastern European country, joining commercial station, BTV, which also uses the SintecMedia OnAir system.
Fox Life selected the OnAir software suite in order to optimize its inventory, improve communications between departments, eliminate workflow redundancy, sustain complete data integrity, meet regulatory requirements and generate higher revenues.
OnAir accommodates multiple concurrent users across regions and time zones, while managing content acquisition, broadcast rights, long-term and detailed schedule planning, airtime sales, traffic, promotion planning, media management and process control.
