Pemberton to offer insights as part of business panel

Softel CEO Sam Pemberton will join a panel of leading industry figures for an IBC2009 session entitled "The Future of the Industry: How to Survive and Prosper."
Part of the IBC2009 "Business of Broadcasting" conference stream, the session, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, at 12:15 p.m., will address key issues and challenges facing broadcasting manufacturers in the current economic climate, analyzing the crisis with the help of senior industry figures. Contributing panelists will assess the scale of the impact and debate the future shape of the industry.
Pemberton will outline how Softel has evolved to serve market requirements in challenging times. He will explain how a corporate culture based on key principles that include maintaining a constant awareness of changing customer requirements, anticipating technical developments and their implications, and adopting best business practices has helped Softel.
