Pinnacle names new Broadcast Business VP

Digital video production systems provider Pinnacle Systems has named Matthew Danilowicz as the new vice president for the company’s Broadcast Business. Danilowicz will head up product strategy, product marketing and product management for Pinnacle’s broadcast production and delivery products.
Most recently a senior marketing manager with Thomson for its Grass Valley integrated production system, “Ignite,” Danilowicz also served as vice president of business development at Parkervision until Thomson purchased that company’s video assets in 2004. Prior to that, he has held roles as CEO of iNews and vice president of Broadcast Business for Avid Technologies.
