Pittman to deliver venture capital super session keynote

Robert Pittman, a founding member of the private investment firm Pilot Group, will deliver the keynote address April 18 during the NAB2007 "Venture Capital — Where the Innovators are Investing Dollars" super session.
This session brings Silicon Valley venture capitalists together to examine investment interests and activity in the radio and TV broadcast industries in markets worldwide. An executive panel will cover content creation, production, publishing, distribution, retailing and consumption.
Pittman, who co-founded MTV in 1981, led the programming team that created the cable network. During this time, MTV became the first profitable cable network group and remained the most profitable cable network company throughout his tenure. He also formerly served as the CEO of Time Warner Enterprises.
Peter Daley, equity research analyst of digital media at Rutberg & Company, will moderate the Venture Capital super session. Three executive panelists will take part in this forum, including:
Ping Li, general partner, Accel;
Dennis Miller, general partner, Spark Capital;
Jake Seid, general partner, Lightspeed Venture Partners.
