Pixel Power debuts new software for Clarity CG family

Pixel Power's Clarity 500 systems now features including real-time 3-D capability.

Pixel Power's Clarity Version 7 software is now available. The system offers significant feature enhancements — including real-time 3-D capability — for the Clarity character generator family.

The new real-time 3-D capability is available as an option on Clarity 200 and Clarity 500 systems. 3-D objects and animation sequences are prepared offline using Discreet 3DS Max software and then exported to Clarity. The 3-D animations play out in real-time with live mapping of animated dynamic text, images and cells onto the object surfaces.

Applications include 3-D scoreboards, elections, dynamic map displays, interactive television, channel branding and any graphics display that requires the additional impact of real-time 3-D animation.
