Looking to expand its U.S. presence and market share, Pixel Power, a provider of broadcast graphics systems, has named Pete Challinger as its new CEO. Most recently, Challinger worked with Modulus Video, a compression company focused on the MPEG-4 AVC space.
Challinger is an industry veteran, having worked for a variety of companies over the past 20 years. Previously he worked for Abekas Video Systems, Grass Valley and Spruce Technologies, where he was the founding vice president of marketing. Most recently, he worked with MPEG-4 compression company Modulus Video.
In 1999 Challinger formed his own consulting and distribution business, helping to launch Quartz Electronics to the U.S. market.
