Surviving and even thriving in today’s tough economic climate will be foremost on the agenda for the Pilat Media Customer Conference (PMCC) 2009 to be held Thursday, Sept. 10, in conjunction with IBC2009.

The conference, which will be held at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, brings together broadcasters and practitioners from the world's top media companies, including technologists and industry leaders, to address such challenges as workflow unification, cost-effective deployment of new services and improving business performance in tough economic times.

Highlights include a thought leadership panel entitled "Business Management Strategies to Turn Tough Times into Profitable Opportunities" and an interactive roundtable discussion.

Breakout sessions include:

• "Advanced Advertising," a review of the end-to-end advanced advertising chain.

• "Reporting and Business Analytics," an overview of business system reporting capabilities, including report generators, business intelligence and integration with third-party reporting systems.

• "Integrated MAMs and Business Systems to Streamline Multiservice Operations," a look at some of the opportunities and pitfalls in deploying an integrated media asset management (MAM) solution within existing business operations.

PMCC 2009 will close with dinner and entertainment for all attendees at Amsterdam's Supper Club.
