The Analog Coder interfaces to existing analog heterodyne microwave systems through a 70 MHz IF connection.
Prime Regional Television Network of Australia recently selected the Nucomm Analog Coder to upgrade existing analog microwave links to include digital transport capability.
Prime ordered three Analog Coder systems to deliver digital programming to regional transmitter sites in New South Wales and Victoria. It is the third regional network in Australia to incorporate the Analog Coder.
The Analog Coder interfaces to existing analog heterodyne microwave systems through a 70 MHz IF connection. While offering a cost-effective solution for single-hop analog configurations, the Analog Coder provides additional savings in multi-hop systems. The Analog Coder has been successfully tested across a 14 and 26 hop inter-city microwave system with no degradation in digital performance, without using regenerators.
