IBIS process management software enables cross compatibility between a Quantel sQ server and Avid iNEWS-equipped newsrooms (pictured).
Quantel and IBIS have a joint development that delivers seamless integration between Quantel's sQ server-based production systems and Avid's iNEWS-equipped newsrooms, thanks to IBIS process management software.

The level of integration achieved between the Avid and Quantel environments is based around a dynamic MOS gateway that locks the two systems together. The systems act as if they are effectively both part of a single system. Users can simply drag and drop items between iNEWS and sQ server environments with automatic title transfer on a placeholder basis.
