Quantel used NAB to debut its Newsbox HD, a turnkey news production system that is available in both “HD now” and “HD upgradeable” configurations.
Newsbox HD is an affordable, self-contained unit that comes with all the tools necessary to ingest material, view rushes, choose shots, edit stories, review finished pieces and play them out to air. Its common progressive user interface and toolset are exactly the same as all the sQ systems from Quantel that are being used by news operations at some of the world's largest broadcasters.
