Andrew broadcast products will be used in Radio/TV Malaysia's (RTM) countrywide update of Malaysia's television sites.
The installations, which include everything from the transmitter output flange to the antenna, including combiners, switches and transmission lines, are the first complete broadcast antenna systems Andrew has provided within Malaysia.
The order is part of a contract awarded to Global Technologies Support Sdn Bhd (GTS) through APEX Communications Sdn Bhd, a system integrator in Malaysia.
RTM will take delivery of Andrew broadband panel antenna systems, including multichannel combiner networks; HELIAX coaxial cable, connectors and accessories; rigid transmission line and accessories; DryLine dehydrators and accessories; and coaxial motorized switches with dummy loads, to be installed at 19 broadcast sites across the country.
