SES AMERICOM to deliver NFL Network via IPTV

SES AMERICOM has signed an agreement with the NFL to deliver the NFL Network channel to telecom carriers via SES AMERICOM’s IP-PRIME IPTV service.

IP-PRIME is a turnkey IPTV solution with transport agreements for more than 295 TV channels and 100 digital music channels for IPTV providers in North America. Individual operators must still negotiate carriage with the programmers.

The NFL Network has 43 million subscribers, according the league. The channel carries 2000 hours of original programming per year, including eight live regular-season and 52 preseason games.
