Shotoku Broadcast to unveil pneumatic pedestal

Shotoku Broadcast will debut its new TP-90 pneumatic pedestal with its matching TE-23 pan/tilt head to European broadcasters at IBC2006.

The TP-90 incorporates design elements of the TP-80 pneumatic pedestal that ensure its rigidity and facilitate light, smooth up and down movement. The compact three-stage, minimum height unit has a column stroke reach of 37.2in. Located under the carriage, the TP-90’s cable guards can be height adjusted by turning a knob located at the side of carriage.

Safety features include a new and improved column lock, as well as a brake ring placed within reach of the cameraman while in operation.

The companion TE-23 pan/tilt head has a payload of 132lbs and features the REULAUX balance system for smooth operation with a wide-balance range.
