Sling Media co-founder and CEO Blake Krikorian has helped to define "placeshifting."

Blake Krikorian, co-founder and CEO of Sling Media, will deliver the keynote address for the "Portable! — Digital Media Content Anywhere Anytime" Super Session April 16 during NAB2007.

The Super Session will include a panel discussion moderated by CNET editor Brian Cooley. Content providers, distributors and consumer electronics experts will meet to discuss what consumers want from portable media devices and what opportunities exist for programmers, carriers and manufacturers.

Krikorian helped produce Slingbox, a product that provides "anytime/anywhere" access to video sources in the home, defining a new "placeshifting" market in portable media devices.
