The NAB and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), have announced they will jointly produce weekend digital cinema technology sessions Saturday, April 17, at NAB2004 in Las Vegas.
The NAB2004 Digital Cinema Summit addresses the transition from film to digital media, including the creation and enhancement of work using digital media technologies, the distribution of work via digital technologies and their display with digital display technologies.
The April 17 program will cover the science, engineering, testing, standards, economic, regulatory and political issues surrounding the implementation of digital cinema.
