Sony releases XPRI 7.0 HD editing

Sony has released its news XPRI nonlinear HD and SD editing system, version 7.0.

The new system will include new features that increase its interoperability with other systems throughout the production chain. It features a powerful new interface that enables real-time high- and standard-definition primary and secondary color correction, with color matching, limiters, HSL control and RGB curves.

With XPRI 7.0, multiple camera sources can now be grouped and displayed in four or nine camera banks for fast and efficient multi-source editing. Traditional multiple camera editing has been significantly expanded to allow multiple sequences, with real-time effects, to also be used as sources. Editors can also control and ingest from two HD sources simultaneously, reducing the batch-loading process for HD online conforming of OMF and EDL offline lists by half.
