Take-Off unveils digital signage hookup for PowerPoint presentations

Take-Off unveiled its DataPoint solution that links Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to various data sources broadcasting digital signage displays. DataPoint allows users to continuously update a presentation during its showing – e.g. the insertion and deletion of text, numbers, images, graphs and other graphics – without changing the layout. These linked presentations can be displayed live on a large monitor or the user can generate new static presentations for offline distribution. All content is based on the latest information available at a given data source feeding the signage display. Presentations can be linked to databases, Microsoft Excel worksheets and text files.

Take-off DataPoint is an add-on for Microsoft PowerPoint and works in combination with PowerPoint versions 2000, 2002 and 2003. A free 30-day trial version can be downloaded from the company’s Web site.
