Television Engineering rolls out ENG Express newsgathering vehicle

Television Engineering (TEC) has introduced the ENG Express, a fast-turnaround, electronic newsgathering vehicle.

With a four to six week turnaround, the ENG Express offers a high degree of confidence that they can get a new newsgathering truck in the field that includes exactly what’s needed for the nightly news in the shortest possible time.

The ENG Express is built on a Ford E250 V8 or E350 V10 chassis. Its ENG package includes a TEC-IFB 19A controller, microwave transmitter package, 48-foot pneumatic mast, roof deck platform, rear-mounted connector panel, off-air UHF and VHF antenna, audio and video monitoring equipment, exterior work lights and AC compressor system.
