Thales introduces MSDC IOT transmitter

The DCX paragon uses multi-stage depressed collector (MSDC) IOT technology.

Thales Broadcast & Multimedia will introduce a new MSDC IOT transmitter at NAB2003.

The DCX paragon uses multi-stage depressed collector (MSDC) IOT technology. For better transmission efficiency, it offers up to two times conventional IOT and four times that of a solid-state transmitter. It has a low distortion.

The transmitter also features Soft Arc Technology – a linear HVPS with no crowbar. It includes a new cooling system, and compatibility with major MSDC IOT tube manufacturers.
