TANDBERG Television wins MPEG-4 AVC HD order

TANDBERG Television announced last week that it had received an order valued in excess of $5 million from a North American satellite direct-to-home broadcaster for its second-generation MPEG-4 AVC EN8090 video compression systems.

The contract is a continuation of the direct-to-home provider's deployment of HD content to local markets.
