Vizrt to show real-time HD graphics at NAB2005

Viz|Trio, Vizrt’s real-time HD/SD CG and graphics system, now supports all HD formats.
At NAB2005, Vizrt will highlight an HD version of its Viz|Trio character generator system; a new version of Viz|Weather 3-D software; and a new version of Viz|Content, Pilot content management software integrated with Viz|Trio.

Viz|Trio has been been enhanced with the release of Viz|Trio 2.2. The new version supports all HD formats and includes a new internal compositing tool. Pre-defined graphic elements and animation are readily available. The system’s NLE plug-ins now also support Pinnacle’s Liquid Edition and Liquid blue editing software, as well as Avid’s editing software using Avid Visual Extensions.

The newest version also features a new MOS interface option that can be used in conjunction with the Viz|Content Pilot ActiveX. This offers support for all of the major newsroom systems.

Working with Viz Content|Pilot, journalists can directly add graphic elements using its templates. CG operators may still control playout of the graphics elements through Viz|Trio from the control room.

Others products set to be on display in Las Vegas in April include:

  • Viz|Ticker with the Viz|Ad feature for real-time advertising;
  • Viz|Arena software designed specially for live virtual sports graphics;
  • Viz|Virtual Studio along with the 2-D virtual studio software, Viz|Ibis;
  • Viz|Engine, which supports NVIDIA’s latest-generation graphics cards
  • .

A new version of the company’s Viz|Weather 3=D real-time weather software for the creation and playout of weather-related graphics, will also be highlighted at the Vizrt booth. Viz|Weather allows users to change weather data and graphics in seconds, using pre-made templates.

Vizrt will exhibit its products in the NAB South Hall 1, Booth #SL1137. For more information, visit www.vizrt.com.
