At the International Association of Broadcast Meteorology opening tomorrow in Barcelona, Spain, Vizrt will showcase a new version of viz|weather software for the creation and playout of weather-related graphics.

Powered by Vizrt’s viz|engine, a real-time 3-D graphics rendering engine, viz|weather can control, switch and manipulate weather data and graphics in seconds.

Weather data, such as temperature, wind speeds and direction, weather symbols, 3-D maps, model data, cloud forecast and radar maps can now be displayed automatically with corresponding graphic elements in real-time, using templates created by graphics designers.
