Six News Now (SNN), a Sarasota, FL, cable news station, has selected Dalet’s DaletPlus News Suite for digital news production and playout at its 24-hour news operation.
The DaletPlus News Suite integrates scripting and video editing tools with news automation, rundown management, and playout control into a single, centrally administered package. Interfacing with Pansonic P2 cameras and controlling two Omneon Spectrum media servers, DaletPlus News Suite provides a tape less workflow with log-on anywhere access and rights-management.
SNN source material, work in progress and finished packages are instantly viewable on journalists’ desktops, or remotely through secure Web access. Video and text content are converted to Web-ready formats and migrate to SNN’s Web servers.
