Russia Today selects DaletPlus News Suite

Russia’s newest television channel, Russia Today, has chosen Dalet Digital Media’s end-to-end news production solution, the DaletPlus News Suite, to drive its newsroom production and playout operations.
Owned and operated by the Russian government, the new station will offer its 24-hour Russian news programs in English to viewers around the world. The DaletPlus News Suite system will be at the core of the Russia Today operation providing ingest, editing, rundown/playout and archiving functionality.
DaletPlus News Suite provides the Russia Today staff with a robust newsroom computer system, simple to use journalist editing and voiceover tools and comprehensive on-air controls tightly integrated with Omneon video server technology and viz|rt graphics systems.
