Taiwan Television Enterprise (TTV) has chosen the SysMedia Plasma Magenta interactive TV content management and production system as a core part of its interactive DVB-MHP solution.
The DVB-MHP system for TTV is an end-to-end content development, carousel generation and playout system for the broadcast of enhanced and interactive television applications. The MHP output of SysMedia's Plasma Magenta system uses the JAME MHP Application Framework and is integrated with the TSBroadcaster and TSPlayer carousel generation and playout system from Strategy and Technology.
Taiwan terrestrial broadcasters have adopted DVB-MHP as the transmission standard for terrestrial broadcasts. All five terrestrial broadcasters began broadcasting digital television programs in July 2004.
The SysMedia system is at the core of a package supplied by dealer SysMedia Zentek Technology Singapore.
