BSkyB purchases 12 Inscriber Inca RTX systems

British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) has purchased 12 Inscriber Inca RTX systems for its facility at Isleworth, London, to provide increased graphic and real-time data display capabilities.

The Leitch Technology subsidiary’s Inca RTX gives BSkyB the flexibility to develop specific applications for integrating and displaying station clocks, live sports scores and real-time election results.

Inca RTX is a flexible real-time 2-D/3-D graphics, video and clips platform. It provides a developer's tool for creating custom broadcast applications, such as up-to-the minute data in sports, weather and elections; dynamic graphics and effects within interactive programs, game shows and shopping channels; and multiple layers of graphics, video, and animations in news and information channels.
