ESPN Zone to offer HD experience

ESPN Zone, the restaurants themed after the sports network, has kicked off a multimillion-dollar technological conversion to bring sports fans an HD viewing experience just in time for the Super Bowl.

TVs in ESPN Zone locations in New York City, Las Vegas, Washington D.C. and Baltimore will be converted to HD in time for Super Bowl XL. The Super Bowl airs next Sunday on ABC.

ESPN Zone locations in Chicago, Anaheim, Atlanta and Denver will be converted to HD by the end of 2006.
