Canadian mobile production company adds FOR-A HVS-3800HS switcher

A FOR-A HANABI HVS-3800HS provides HD production switching in the new Vu Productions 35ft HD mobile production truck.

Vu Productions, the mobile production unit of Bell ExpressVu, recently selected FOR-A’s HANABI HVS-3800HS two mix and effect HD and SD switcher for use within its 35ft HD mobile production truck.

The HVS-3800HS supports all major HD and SD formats, including 1080i, 24p, 23.98SF and 720p. The 4RU size of the switcher is well suited for the confined space of a mobile environment.

The HVS-3800HS can configure up to five main units or control panels, making it easy for users to set up productions from multiple locations. It has 16 standard inputs and outputs. As an option, users can configure the switcher with up to 28 inputs. It comes with four still stores.
