Electronics Arts releases first game with integrated ESPN content
Electronic Arts has delivered the first game with ESPN integrated content. EA SPORTS branded MVP 06 NCAA Baseball, which is in stores now, marks the first title released under a long-term agreement reached last January for the development and integrated marketing of EA SPORTS games containing ESPN content.


NBC Olympics to power listings with Zap2it
NBC Olympics and Zap2it.com, a division of Tribune Media Services (TMS), have entered into an agreement to offer continuously updated online television listings for the Torino Winter Olympics.

NBCOlympics.com will link viewers to a customized Zap2it-powered section that will provide the 24-hour Olympic television listings.

ESPN names López senior news director ESPN has named Fernando López senior news director of the Spanish-language editions of “SportsCenter.” The show is televised on ESPN Deportes in the United States and on ESPN Dos in Latin America. López will be based at ESPN’s Bristol, CT, headquarters.


Gextech, SkyBet strike deal on Fantastic League Gaming solutions provider Gextech has signed an agreement with SkyBet to supply the U.K. and Ireland operator with its virtual football game Fantastic League. SkyBet, the interactive betting arm of satellite broadcaster BSkyB, is set to launch the innovative fixed odds betting virtual football game on Sky Vegas Live in May 2006.


Plavnick joins ESPN Judy Plavnick, formerly of Discovery Communications, has joined ESPN as executive producer, ESPN Classic. In her position she will manage and coordinate the day-to-day production of all ESPN Classic programming and coordinate with other areas of ESPN production and programming.
